Bergen Spots Have Best BBQ in New Jersey

NJ.com has shared their picks for The 34 best New Jersey BBQ joints, ranked, for 2024 (Read Story).

The annually published list features “southern” bqq and does not include others like Korean.

They claim there’s lots of good ‘cue around the state, though “you just have to know where to look”.

Like many of these articles, the specific system used to determine the ranking wasn’t shared with readers.

Of the restaurants named, only two were in Bergen County.

Brothers BBQ in Ramsey (Website) came in at #27 — it was highlighted for it’s brisket sandwich.

Kimchi Smoke in Ridgewood (Website) came in at #32 — the shop owned by Robert “Austin” Cho was chosen for its brisket, pulled pork sandwich and Korean redneck racos.
