JoJos, a new bar and grill, has opened in Garfield.

Owner Joanna Afonso was working in the medical field and make a change to follow her dream and get into the hospitality business. She has experience working in hospitality, including a stint as bar manager at Manny’s in Lodi.

Their food menu ranges from classic bar apps to tacos, burgers and wings – the kitchen is open everyday till 1:00am. All of their cocktails are “one of a kind”, specially concocted by Joanna herself.

Specials include happy hour on Monday thru Friday from 4pm-7pm and taco specials on Tuesdays and during football games, plus there’s karaoke and comedy nights different nights of the week.

Current hours are Monday thru Saturday from 4:00pm till 2:00am and Sunday from 12:00pm till 2:00am.
